In truth, I don’t know what is more horrible; the ghoulish guy with the suppurating face or the cork-effect wallpaper and tasselled granny lampshape? These snaps date from October 1994, photographs from a Halloween party at my student house. Another monster face from me, but the award for best get-up that night had to go to this other guy who came dressed as a triffid – complete with a tube for sucking up his lager. What a legend.
