A second collection of images produced for The Kick-About No.96, inspired by the layered, paper creations of artist Maud Vantours. Created using a flat-bed scanner and a stack of ordinance survey maps and guide books, I wanted to concertina as much geography as possible into a single image.

Our last Kick-About together was a seasonal affair, with the figure of Father Christmas as its muse. Now that Christmas is done and dusted, we’re likely reflecting on the mountains of cardboard and paper produced by Santa’s insistence on ‘more, more, more’.
