I’m going to leave you guessing as to how these ‘paperweights’ were produced, though the creative process did begin with actual glass paperweights and a webcam. Some pretty interesting stuff got started along the way, and as is so often the case with developing work for The Kick-About, a door opened up into a whole new way of thinking about how to get stuff done. Along the way, I made loads of variations-on-a-theme and I’ll be sharing them on here over the next few days. It may well be a case of once you’ve seen one shimmering, painterly orb, you’ve seen them all, but indulge me.
