I’ve been in France for a few weeks, eeking out the summer for as long as possible – even though on the day this photograph was taken in Brantôme, it was overcast and raining. We were walking by the river and the reflection of this perfect shuttered house was too evocative to pass up. This is the photograph flipped up the ‘right way’ for a pleasing painterly effect.
